C-25.2.1 Release Notes

C-25.2.1 - Release Notes

We’re excited to bring you the latest updates to Lynx Logix, focusing on optimizing back-end data ingestion and calculations.

🌟 Key Updates

Ingestion Pipeline Overhaul

  • Removed the deprecated ingestion_in_progress table

    • Ingestion now writes directly to respective model tables

  • Introduced support to start ingestion from any sequence in the processor chain.

  • Enabled single-lane ingestion to support partial refreshes.

MongoDB Integration

  • Onboarding service now supports MongoDB and DynamoDB (Contxt remains on DynamoDB).

  • All existing lanes onboarded into MongoDB.

  • External events transformation jobs now source data from MongoDB.

Lane List and Table Structure Updates

  • Standardized lane list view layout and contxt-based fields added.

  • Updated table structures and renamed fields in the ingestion schema to align with the new design.

Metric Calculations and Status Improvements

  • First-Time Onboarding Strategy

    • Data <1 year → full history ingested in one batch

    • Data >1 year → split into yearly refresh periods

  • Excursion Metrics Logic Change

    • Average Excursion Count per Shipment now only considers shipments with excursions.

    • Average Excursion Duration follows the same adjustment.

  • Ping Rate Adjustments

    • Air mode pings excluded from ping rate calculations.

🕷️ Bug Fixes

  • No Risk Card — no longer shown when no “No Risk” lanes exist.

  • Athena CORS Issue — fixed error blocking UI in Lynx Logix.

  • Null Lanes — resolved duplication and visibility issues.

  • Carrier-QA Environment — IP allow list reinstated to restrict public access.

📝 Important Notes

  • For lanes with fewer than 10 shipments, Athena summary now states that insights are unavailable as opposed to in progress

  • The ‘No Risk’ marked card now only appears when there is any such lane with “No Risk“ category for external events

  • Post-Release Enhancements (Planned):

    • Add shipment status filters to In Shipments and Delayed Shipments metrics.

    • Exclude unresolved shipments
