Setup Group and Companies

Welcome to LYNX Logix. This article will cover creating Group Companies and assigning Companies into the Group.

First, a Company entity must be established by a Super Admin. To do so, hover over the top navigation “Administration” and select “Companies” to navigate to the Companies page.

From here, the Super Admin click +Add New Company and a pop-up will open and user will need to input:
Company Name, Domain (@carrier.com as example) and Address (Company or Site Location). Next they will need to identify a Company Point of Contact and enter those user Details and hit “Add Company”.

To assign a company into a group a Super Admin may create a Group to add sub companies to manage and administrate other Companies within a Group. Common examples may include Companies segmented by region such as North Americas, Europe, or Asia entities.

To do so, hover over the top navigation “Administration” and select “Groups” to navigate to the Companies page.

From here, the Super Admin click +Add New Group and a pop-up will open and user will need to input:
The Group Name, Select Group Admin (only a single created companies can be selected), and Add Additional Companies which may fall under the Group.

From here the Super Admin can manage Companies and Users by enabling additional Company Admin access to users. As well, add any more additional Company entities into the group and grant user access pertaining to each specific Company within the Group.

Group Admin is also allowed to invite new companies to the group, but cannot add existing companies to the group. Only Super Admin can add existing companies to a group.
