Welcome to PAXAFE! This article will introduce you to setting up Configuration Profiles in the CONTXT platform and how these may be applied to Shipments, TRAK-X series Devices, and Products.
Configuration Profiles are an efficient way to alleviate time for setup in CONTXT shipment creation and TEMP-X Parsing by creating and selecting Configuration Profiles best matched for the use case.
You can configure any of the following Configuration Settings:
Default Profiles: Default Profiles may be configured and selected (via toggle 
) from all Profiles created by users.
Device Configuration Profile: A preconfigured profile created for Devices used in active shipments where sensor thresholds and communication intervals can be set.
| Configuration | Description |
| Temperature | Temperature thresholds can be set for acceptable criteria range for the device to trigger excursion alarms. As well, a previously made Product Profile can be selected instead and applied acceptable temperature ranges/thresholds. |
| Humidity | Humidity thresholds min and max setting with tolerance in Relative Humidly %. |
| Light | Lumen value to detect and trigger Light Excursion alarm. 80 Lumens can be selected for package open/close detection. |
| Shock | The sensitivity in G-Force value to trigger a shock excursion alarm. |
| Communication interval | The time interval in which TRAK-X or TRAK-X1 can communicate over LTE network to the CONTXT platform to report Realtime and buffered data of the device in shipment. More details on TRAK-X and TRAK-X1 can be found here. |
Shipment Profile: A preconfigured profile created for Shipments used in active shipments to predefine details needed in creating a shipment.

| Shipment Description | Short description for the shipment. |
| Receiver contact number | Phone number for shipment receiver. |
| Receiver email | Email address for shipment receiver. |
| Round trip | Option for closed loop shipment where origin is assigned as destination used only with TRAK-X device. |
| Device Configuration profile | A previously made Device Configuration selection |
| Legs | Shipment mode and carrier can optional be selected for individual shipping legs created. As well unique Device communication intervals can be set according to specific legs. As well enable alerts for leg milestones. |
| Shipment Autocomplete | Delay timer to auto-complete shipment after reaching destination. After shipment is complete the device will automatically change modes for battery conservation. |
| Origin/Destination/Stop geofence | Geofence radius defined to trigger geofence alerts. |
| Time based geofence alert for destination | Toggle to allow time based geofence alerts only applicable to TRAK-X. |
| Custom geofence | Toggle to create custom geofences between origin/destination. Typically, used for Airports, Ports, Package sorting facilities. |
| Auto report generation | Toggle to create shipment reports with Report type formats (PDF, PDF + Raw data, and/or CSV). Options to automatically send generated report to email receivers. |
